Update on Sasha Banks’ status with WWE and her possibly being released

As previously noted, Sasha Banks and Naomi were indefinitely suspended by WWE after walking out of RAW on May 16th 2022 and there was talk this week that Sasha was released from the company.

In an update on the report, Fightful.com noted that “the claim, again, unverified by us as of yet, were that Banks’ lawyers were involved and there had been eyes on a physical WWE release.”

Andrew Zarian of F4WOnline.com also commented on the story…

“I cannot confirm she’s been released. But, I did hear late last week that her attorneys were working on getting this done.”

As of Wednesday afternoon, Sasha Banks has not publicly addressed the situation. WWE has not commented on the report but has also not denied it.
