Update on Ricky Starks following injury scare on the March 30th 2024 edition of AEW Collision

As seen during the March 30th 2024 edition of AEW Collision, there was an injury scare involving Ricky Starks. Starks had teamed up with Big Bill against Top Flight in a tag team title tournament match.

Starks took a pele kick to the back of the head by Darius Martin. Starks was rolled up by Darius but didn’t kick out and the referee stopped his count so the match could continue as planned. Darius then hit an assisted tornado DDT on Starks to pick up the victory. Starks’ music played for a split second but then Top Flight’s music played. It’s believed that Starks and Bill had been originally scheduled to win the match but an audible was called.

After the match, the referee and a trainer attended to Starks. In a message posted to his Instagram story, Starks wrote “I’m all good, everything checked out fine. Was being precautious.”
