Update on how much money AEW is making from new deal with Warner Brothers Discovery

Earlier this week, AEW officially confirmed a new media rights deal with Warner Brothers Discovery. In regards to how much AEW is making on the deal, Twitter/X account @WrestleVotes noted the following…

“According to a source close to the situation, AEW’s new deal with Warner Bros. Discovery is closer to $185 million per year, not the previously reported $150 million.”

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com also stated the following about the renewal…

“Variety, which first reported the story, listed the deal at upwards of $150 million per year taking everything into account. Sources close to the negotiations said it will wind up substantially over that figure on an annual basis with all components figured in. The deal is for three years and a fourth option year. The fourth year would be at a substantial increase in price.”
