Update on Gunther’s status for WWE WrestleMania 42 amid internet speculation

Gunther has not appeared on WWE television over the past few weeks. Sources told Bodyslam.net that Gunther’s feud with Dragon Lee was originally intended to lead into a program with Rey Mysterio, culminating in a match at WrestleMania 42. However, Rey has been out of action due to a rib injury.

According to WrestleVotes Radio, WWE sources indicate that Gunther is still expected to play a “substantial” role at WrestleMania 42 despite his recent absence from television. One source noted that leaving him off the show would not benefit anyone involved.

Gunther is currently not being advertised for next week’s RAW at Madison Square Garden although he could still end up making an appearance.

GUNTHER misses RAW for the third week straight.

The guy who retired Goldberg, retired John Cena by making him tap out, and retired AJ Styles seems to have no direction for WrestleMania.
