Update on Dragon Lee’s status with WWE following his match against Dominik Mysterio on WWE RAW

As seen during the September 25th 2023 edition of WWE RAW, NXT’s Dragon Lee lost a North American title match to Dominik Mysterio. Despite the loss, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com reported that Lee did so well that it looks like he’s going to be moving to the main roster.

Meltzer noted the following…

“The nature of the deal he signed did indicate he’d be on the main roster after one year in NXT to begin with, but the match with Dominik may have sped up his timetable. He was legitimately debating between AEW and WWE last year when both made their offers and WWE did indicate main roster money in the deal for year two.”

Lee could end up on the Smackdown brand as Steve Carrier of RingsideNews.com tweeted the following…

“Ringside News has been able to confirm that Dragon Lee is on the main roster now. He is also listed as a SmackDown Superstar, so expect to see a lot more of him on Friday nights.”
