Update on Bronson Reed’s condition following Tsunami cage spot at WWE Survivor Series
As seen during the 2024 WWE Survivor Series PLE, there were multiple high-risk spots in the men’s War Games match. Bronson Reed came off the top of the cage with a tsunami attempt to Roman Reigns but missed and crashed through a table. It was reported that Reed potentially suffered an injury to one or both ankles.
In an update on Reed’s condition, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted that “the word making the rounds among WWE talents is that Bronson Reed will undergo surgery sometime next week for his ankle/foot injury suffered at WWE Survivor Series.”
Reed had been scheduled to face Seth Rollins in steel cage matches as part of WWE’s upcoming holiday tour. However, those lineups are expected to change in the coming days. Beyond that, it’s unknown how long Reed will be out of action.
Earlier this week, a report came out that the injury to Reed led to McIntyre returning a few weeks sooner than initially planned. However, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com stated that McIntyre’s return was planned in advance with December 2nd being the general idea. Once Reed was injured, the idea of another date was “never broached again.”
