Update on Bron Breakker’s condition following doomsday device spot from WWE Survivor Series 2025

As seen during the 2025 WWE Survivor Series PLE, Bron Breakker pinned CM Punk in the men’s War Games match. Earlier in the bout, Cody and Punk delivered a Doomsday Device to Breakker, who took a nasty bump that led to concern about his physical condition.

In an update, PWInsider.com was told that Breakker was walking around fine backstage after the show. PWInsider added that Breakker “was checked out by WWE Medical but we have not heard of any issues stemming from the Wargames match involving Breakker as of this writing.”

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, the belief is that Breakker will be Punk’s opponent at WrestleMania 42. Meltzer stated the following…

“Punk getting pinned wasn’t about delivering a great finish for the match — it was about telling the story. And the story is: coming out of this match, we’re supposed to know the WrestleMania direction — Cody vs. Roman, and Punk vs. Bron Breakker for the championships.”
