Update on Bobby Lashley’s future following his departure from WWE
Bobby Lashley and MVP were recently moved to the Alumni section of the WWE.com website following reports of their contracts expiring and it was confirmed that both men have left WWE.
A trademark was recently filed for the term “The Hurt Syndicate” and it’s believed that there are plans for a faction to be created outside of WWE that is similar to The Hurt Business. It was reported this week by Fightful.com that AEW has been in discussions with Lashley, MVP, and Shelton Benjamin. However, it’s unknown if a deal with the trio has been finalized or is even imminent.
Lashley has seemingly made it clear that he has no plans on retiring as he wrote “The journey is far from over…” via Instagram.
