Tyra Mae Steele (Tamyra Mensah Stock) has not been released from WWE

On Thursday, WWE LFG winner Tyra Mae Steele (Tamyra Mensah Stock) posted the following message via Twitter/X…

“On a weekend off working for WWE, I went back to Olympic wrestling, won gold at Worlds, prize purse was $350000… Tried to go back to WWE that Monday. They moved me up to Raw, just to tell me they had to let me go bc I went behind their back… So was this a nightmare or a dream?”

While fans speculated about the legitimacy of Steele’s post, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com noted the following…

“WWE tells Fightful Tyra Mae Steele has not been released. She was literally tweeting about a dream she had.”

Steele, a 2020 Olympic gold medalist, signed with WWE in 2023 and won the first season of WWE LFG to earn an NXT contract. She appeared regularly on WWE EVOLVE on Tubi and also competed on NXT and NXT Level Up.
