Tony Khan and AEW called out for not publicly acknowledging the death of Hulk Hogan
Following the death of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, tributes have been pouring in from various wrestlers and promotions. However, the official Twitter/X accounts of Tony Khan and AEW have not acknowledged the death of Hogan as of Saturday, July 26th 2025. In 2020, Khan stated that Hogan was “banned from all AEW shows.”
Users on Twitter/X have called out Khan and AEW for not mentioning Hogan while featuring other people with controversial personal lives such as Ric Flair, Mike Tyson, Sabu, New Jack, and Jay Briscoe. Former WCW commentator Mark Madden was among those that commented on Hogan’s death being ignored…
“Big whiff by @AEW not paying tribute to Hogan. Just unthinkable. Don’t get it at all. Don’t see any upside to not doing so.”
