Tony Khan addresses report about AEW Dynamite drawing over a million viewers between TBS and MAX

Earlier this week, it was reported that AEW Dynamite has been drawing an average of around 500,000 weekly viewers (roughly 80% of live cable viewership) since its launch on the MAX streaming platform. When factoring in TBS numbers, the total average per episode rises to an estimated 1 to 1.2 million viewers since the show joined MAX.

During a media call to promote AEW Dynasty, AEW President Tony Khan was asked about the report and here was Khan’s response…

“I thought that was a really exciting report for AEW and very consistent with everything we’ve been told. While the numbers are being kept close to the vest, we’re one of the top sports streaming shows and that report was consistent with what I’ve heard.” (quote courtesy of Skylar Russell)
