Third employee departure from WWE due to post-Endeavor acquisition layoffs confirmed
As previously noted, WWE employee layoffs are expected following the brand’s merger with UFC to create TKO. On Friday morning, Jamie Horowitz and Catherine Newman were confirmed by Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com as the first post-Endeavor acquisition executive departures.
Johnson was able to confirm that Amanda Bloom, who held the post as WWE’s Director, Enterprise Master Data & Governance, is also gone from the company. Johnson noted the following about the role she had with WWE…
“Bloom was with WWE for the past seven years and was extremely important behind the scenes for the company’s Technology Department in regard to Metadata, how the company used, scrutinized and evaluated that material. Bloom was also responsible for designing the foundational content data model for navigation and discovery on the WWE Network and managed a ton of internal classifications and categorizations to help the company’s internal technology processes be as efficient as possible.”
