The Young Bucks air video footage of CM Punk altercation with Jack Perry on AEW Dynamite
During the April 10th 2024 edition of AEW Dynamite, The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) presented backstage footage of CM Punk’s backstage altercation with Jack Perry from AEW All In 2023. The footage, which contained no audio, showed Punk approaching Perry and the two had words for several seconds. Punk attacked Perry and things were quickly broken up.
The Bucks turned the real life incident into an angle by blaming what happened with Punk and Perry for their loss against FTR during All In. The Bucks said they were thrown off and were “distracted by something so stupid.” The Bucks hyped up their upcoming match against FTR at AEW Dynasty and suggested that FTR were the “masterminds” behind the incident.
FTR then came to the ring and questioned what the Bucks were trying to accomplish by showing the footage. FTR called it an excuse and said the Bucks can’t get over that they lost at All In.
In a later segment, the Bucks attacked Pac in the ring and there was an audible “CM Punk” chant.
Matthew & Nicholas Jackson breakdown their history with FTR.
