The Bloodline capture WWE tag team titles during the August 2nd 2024 edition of Smackdown

As seen during the August 2nd 2024 edition of WWE Smackdown, DIY (Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano) defended the WWE tag team titles against Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu of The Bloodline. DIY had to deal with interfere from Solo Sikoa and Tonga Loa but managed to stay in the fight.

Ultimately, Fatu’s dominance could not be overcome. Fatu scored the pinfall victory on Gargano with an implant DDT and Smackdown ended with Sikoa holding up the titles alongside the new champions.
