The August 29th 2025 edition of WWE SmackDown draws record-low viewership on USA Network
The August 29th 2025 edition of WWE SmackDown drew 1.147 million viewers on USA Network, down from 1.258 million the week prior and marking the lowest non-preempted viewership in show history. The episode delivered a 0.28 rating in the 18–49 demo (down from 0.35) and ranked #2 on cable behind ESPN college football.
The show, which aired on a six-hour delay since it took place in Lyon, France, featured Sami Zayn winning the United States title from Solo Sikoa. WWE’s YouTube video of Zayn winning the title has 2.2 million views.
