Swerve Strickland has reportedly been working in AEW with a torn meniscus

It is being reported by Fightful.com that AEW star Swerve Strickland has been working with a torn meniscus. According to the outlet, Swerve actually had a tear since 2019 when he was training at the WWE Performance Center. Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com also confirmed that Swerve’s knee injury is legitimate.

There is a possibility that Swerve will need to take time off so he can have surgery. The NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars are said to be playing a role in helping Swerve via their medical staff.

The word earlier this year was that Swerve initially had plans to take care of his injury after All In: Texas. However, Swerve is scheduled to challenge Kazuchika Okada for the AEW Unified Championship at this Sunday’s Forbidden Door PPV event.
