Spoiler regarding a title that will be changing hands in WWE

Earlier this year, WWE announced the launch of the new show “Speed” exclusively on Twitter/X. Ricochet ended up becoming the show’s first champion.

Prior to the June 7th 2024 edition of Smackdown, WWE taped two weeks worth of Speed episodes. For next week’s show, Andrade beat Tommaso Ciampa to earn a championship match with Ricochet. The Ricochet vs. Andrade match was also taped and will air on June 18th. Andrade ended up defeating Ricochet to become the new champion.

For what it’s worth, it was recently reported that Ricochet’s WWE contract will be expiring during the summer of 2024.
