Speculation that Triple H would’ve left WWE if Vince McMahon didn’t step down from the company
While speaking on his podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash commented on Paul “Triple H” Levesque potentially going down in history as the greatest of all time in wrestling…
“My whole thing is, it’s just like, who’s the greatest of all time? It’s just like, you know, absolutely there’s the 1A and 1B you know, whether you’re a [Ric] Flair guy or you’re a [Hulk] Hogan guy, and then there’s the business aspect guy and I say that the best run of anybody would be Triple H from all standpoints of the business. There’s no comparison.”
“I think one of the reasons is because he’s so good at what he does on a daily basis. As soon as he got his hands on the controls, sh*t changed. The product became, I mean, it just was night and day. Then Vince [McMahon] almost tried to kibosh it and they went through all that sh*t again. I think at that point if it wouldn’t have went the way it did, I think Paul would have walked. Steph [McMahon] already had. I mean, we never had the conversation, but I know Paul. I mean, I have talked to Paul about some other things. I know some other information that made me feel really good when I heard how Endeavor (TKO) felt about Paul.” (quotes courtesy of WrestlingNews.co)
