Speculation about Saudi Arabia potentially hosting WWE WrestleMania 43 in 2027
Earlier this week, it was revealed by Saudi Arabia’s chairman of the Entertainment Authority Turki Al-Sheikh that a “massive entertainment event” was signed. The event is scheduled to take place in 2027 with an official announcement coming “soon.”
While WrestleMania 43 was not specifically mentioned, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted the following…
“I do know people in the country who believe it is WrestleMania and that they are pushing for Dwayne Johnson [The Rock] to headline, but Alalshikh has not said that. It is well known they are pushing for a WrestleMania and would pay a giant fee to get it, and because of that fee it would be the most lucrative WrestleMania in history. There was also talk of having two WrestleManias in one year so that Saudi Arabia can have one.”
