Sources in AEW expect The Lucha Brothers to leave the company
It was recently reported that Penta El Zero Miedo’s contract with AEW is scheduled to expire between August and September 2024. Penta’s brother and tag team partner Rey Fenix also has a deal that is set to expire.
In an update on the situation, the official Twitter/X account of WrestlePurists.com noted the following…
“According to multiple AEW sources, the Lucha Bros are expected to leave AEW when their contracts expire this year. Some sources speculated they were heading to WWE, some claimed it was a formality. They were originally planned for a trios title match at Wembley [All In], but plans have now changed.”
