Shinsuke Nakamura defeats Apollo Crews to win the Intercontinental Title

On the August 13th 2021 edition of WWE Smackdown, “King” Shinsuke Nakamura pinned Apollo Crews to capture the Intercontinental Title. Rik Boogs and General Azeez were banned from ringside early in the match.

There was a post-match fireworks display as Nakamura celebrated his victory with Boogs and Pat McAfee.
