Sheamus reveals an idea for his WWE television debut that ended up being scrapped
While speaking to the Cheap Heat Live podcast, WWE star Sheamus reflected on his television debut with the company in 2009…
“I was getting information… kind of down the pipeline. There was something at one stage. I was supposed to go back for Christmas. I think I was there in FCW a year and then all of a sudden, I was told, oh, I’m gonna debut with Finlay and Hornswoggle, who was in an angle with Mark Henry and Tony Atlas at the time. So I was like, ‘Oh sh*t, I better get ready for that’ and then that didn’t happen.” (quote courtesy of Andrew Thompson)
Sheamus ended up making his television debut on the June 30th 2009 edition of ECW and quickly moved to the RAW roster in October of that year.
