Sammy Guevara reportedly suspended from AEW following match against Jeff Hardy

As seen during the February 16th 2024 edition of AEW Rampage, Jeff Hardy reportedly suffered a broken nose from Sammy Guevara. According to a report from Fightful Select, Guevara is currently suspended from AEW. Fightful noted the following…

“Fightful Select has learned that All Elite Wrestling mainstay Sammy Guevara is now serving a suspension in connection to the February 14 match he had against Jeff Hardy. During the match, Jeff Hardy sustained an injury, and concussion protocol was not followed, which resulted in Sammy Guevara hitting his finisher on Hardy, which we’re told shouldn’t have happened.”

It was added that a timetable for the suspension is unknown.
