Samantha Irvin says Ricochet is “actually paid well to put on matches he likes” in AEW

Prior to the October 21st 2024 edition of WWE RAW, ring announcer Samantha Irvin wrote that she was leaving WWE. Lilian Garcia returned to WWE as Samantha’s replacement on the RAW broadcast.

Samantha has publicly commented on her departure and also came to the defense of her finance Ricochet. Samantha wrote the following about Ricochet leaving WWE for AEW…

“When he was at WWE all he ever heard was that he was a jobber or he was in catering. Now he’s actually paid well to put on matches he likes. He is doing great and I’m really proud of him. Also I went to the show last night [Collision] and the crowd was having fun. Not everyone wants to be famous doing something they don’t enjoy.”

Samantha also responded to a critical fan with the following message…

“I am so glad I don’t have a boss anymore so I can say this. Shut the fuck upppppp. Woohoo feels great.”
