Roman Reigns defends his unified WWE Universal title heading into Summerslam 2023

With the 2023 Summerslam PLE coming up on August 5th, Roman Reigns made a rare non-televised appearance at WWE’s live event in Mexico City, Mexico on Saturday night. Reigns defended his unified WWE Universal title against Rey Mysterio. Rey was on the verge of winning the match when his son Dominik interfered and Reigns picked up the victory with a spear.

Dominik attacked Rey after the match but Rey fought back and sent Dominik out of the ring with a 619.
