Rob Van Dam writes “I want my money back” in response to video clip from AEW Collision

As seen during the August 10th 2024 edition of AEW Collision, world champion Swerve Strickland defeated Tomohiro Ishii in a World Title Eliminator match. A video clip from the encounter went viral where Ishii was no-selling strikes from Swerve.

Occasional AEW wrestler and WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam was among those that commented on the video by writing “I want my money back.” While the sequence was criticized by some users, @StevieTenenbaum defended the match by writing that “It’s so easy to pick out a 10 second clip and say ‘this match is bad’ for engagement yall all really suck the fun out of a hobby that you’re supposed to enjoy.”
