“Road Dogg” Brian James reportedly decided to leave WWE after receiving his annual review

On Thursday, it was reported that “Road Dogg” Brian James is no longer woring for WWE’s creative team. Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted that James “expressed his unhappiness and tendered his resignation.”

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com provided additional details about James’ departure…

“James got his annual review. The belief is that he wasn’t happy with it and left. He may say he left over something else and only he would know exactly why he did so. But it was his decision and it came after his annual review. One person close to the situation said that it has been brewing.”

James leaving WWE is said to be unrelated to Alexandra Williams being promoted to Vice President/Lead Writer for WWE RAW despite both stories breaking on the same day.
