Ricochet attacks Swerve Strickland with a pair of scissors during the January 1st 2025 edition of AEW Dynamite

Over the past several weeks, Ricochet’s character started shifting from a babyface to a heel. A feud between Ricochet and Swerve was also teased on television.

As seen during the January 1st 2024 edition of AEW Dynamite, Ricochet interfered in the Swerve vs. Jay White vs. Roderick Strong match when he stabbed Strickland with a pair of scissors. After White pinned Strong, Ricochet continued to attack Swerve with the scissors and then Ricochet attacked Prince Nana with a chair. Ricochet manically laughed with blood covering his clothes as the segment came to an end.
