Results of Toni Storm vs. Athena at AEW Forbidden Door 2025

“Timeless” Toni Storm (c) vs. Athena (with Billie Starkz) for the AEW women’s title took place at AEW Forbidden Door 2025. Here are the highlights…

Toni quickly eliminated Billie Starkz with the Storm Zero, but Athena capitalized by sending Toni into the barricade. She then drove Toni’s head into the ring post. Back in the ring, Toni attempted to fight back but struggled to gain any momentum as her neck was hurting.

As Toni began to mount a comeback, a recovered Starkz provided a distraction. Athena applied a submission, but Toni managed to reach the ropes. Outside the ring, Athena attempted to deliver a piledriver on the floor, but Toni countered. Toni then got Athena back into the ring and hit the Storm Zero, though Athena kicked out.

Starkz once again provided a distraction, allowing Athena to hit the O-Face. Mina Shirakawa chased Starkz away to even the odds. Athena attempted another O-Face, but Toni blocked it and secured the Chickwing Submission for the victory.
