Results of The Young Bucks vs. Private Party at AEW WrestleDream 2024

The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson) (c) vs. Private Party (Zay and Quen) for the tag team titles took place at AEW WrestleDream 2024. Here are the highlights…

* The Bucks cut a promo on Private Party before the match and said they won’t be more than a mid-card act. Private Party attacked The Bucks and they headed towards the ramp. Private Party went after The Bucks but got caught with superkicks. Quen recovered and jumped off the entrance tunnel onto everyone. The four returned to the ring and the match officially started.

* After a strong start for Private Party, The Bucks took control and slowed the pace down as other AEW stars watched at ringside. Private Party regained momentum but couldn’t put away The Bucks. The match went back to the outside and both teams traded offense. All four managed to beat the referee’s ten count.

* Private Party hit Jin and Juice but Nicolas was able to kick out and Matthew was able to save Nicolas from another pin attempt. The Bucks regained the upper hand and hit the BTE trigger but Zay kicked out. Zay avoided another BTE trigger and rolled up Matthew but Matthew kicked out. The Bucks recovered and finally pinned Zay with the TK driver.

* After the match, Zay was very emotional and the crowd gave them a standing ovation.
