Results of the men’s War Games match at WWE Survivor Series 2023 PLE

Men’s War Games Match: Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins vs. The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, and Damian Priest) and Drew McIntyre took place at the WWE Survivor Series 2023 PLE. Here are the highlights…

* Before the match, Orton had not shown up. Backstage, Cody assured his teammates that Orton would be there.

* Balor and Rollins started the match. Rollins dove from one ring to the other onto Balor. Balor gave Rollins a back body drop on the steel plate between the rings. There were multiple CM Punk chants in the early minutes.

* JD entered next and brought kendo sticks into the ring. Balor and JD double teamed Rollins with the sticks.

* Jey came into the ring with steel chairs. The crowd chanted “yeet” with every punch and kick he delivered.

* McIntyre wanted to enter next but Priest said it was going to be him and told McIntyre to trust him. Priest had a baton that he was using on Jey and Rollins.

* Zayn pulled a table from under the ring during his entrance which got a big pop from the fans. Zayn grabbed a pipe from the cage and used it as a weapon.

* McIntyre entered the ring and focused on going after Jey. McIntyre threw Jey into the cage multiple times. Zayn was able to help Jey and they hit a 1D to McIntyre.

* Cody made his entrance and the announcers brought up how it was his first time in the match his father invented. Cody built up momentum and brought a bull rope into the ring. Cody and Rollins used the bull rope together. Rollins still wanted to know if Orton was coming.

* Prior to his entrance, there was a “Dom you suck” chant. Dominik entered the ring and went after all of Cody’s team. Dominik tried to hit Cody with the three amigos but was stopped by Cody’s teammates. Dominik’s teammates saved him from being put through a table. Priest ended up giving Rollins a Razor’s Edge through a table.

* Rhea Ripley ran down to the ring and attempted to have Money in the Bank chased in for Priest but then Orton arrived. Orton came into the ring and cleaned house. The entire Cody team hit stereo draping DDTs in tribute to Orton.

* Orton teased that he was going to attack Jey. Priest went for Orton but Jey delivered a superkick to Priest. Cody’s team built up momentum and JD tried to escape by climbing the cage. JD was thrown off the cage by Zayn and Rollins into an RKO from Orton. Cody then pinned Priest with a Cross Rhodes and hugged Orton.

* Just as the show was going off the air, CM Punk made his return to WWE and saluted the fans.
