Results of the “Lights Out” steel cage match at AEW Forbidden Door 2025
Golden Lovers (Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi), Darby Allin, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Will Ospreay vs. Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli and Jon Moxley), The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson), and Gabe Kidd in a “Lights Out” steel cage match took place at AEW Forbidden Door 2025. Here are the highlights…
Alex Windsor provided the narration for Ospreay’s entrance video package. The Young Bucks were mocked with Hanson’s song MMMBop being played for their entrance.
With @HailWindsor’s words echoing through @TheO2, @WillOspreay enters this match motivated and focused.

Various weapons were scattered around the ring. The Bucks brought a bag of what they thought were thumbtacks, but they turned out to be gummy bears. Darby’s team then used the gummy bears to their advantage. The Bucks regrouped and sent Darby into a ladder. The Bucks went after Ospreay, busting him open in the process. Ospreay tried to fight back but Kidd gave him a piledriver on his “compromised” neck.

Claudio threw Darby out of the ring into the cage wall. Tanahashi tried to take on Moxley’s entire team, but the numbers game caught up with him. Darby was brought back into the ring and taped to a steel chair. Moxley then took a fork and twisted it into Darby’s bloody ear.
When it’s lights out… it’s LIGHTS OUT!

Multiple tables were stacked outside the cage. Amid the chaos, the tide turned in favor of Darby’s team. Moxley was sent into a barbed-wire-covered board, while Omega wiped out several opponents with a dive. Ospreay then climbed to the top of the cage and delivered a moonsault onto everyone.

After everyone was wiped out, it came down to Moxley and Omega in the ring. Omega hit the One-Winged Angel, but the pin was broken up. Wheeler Yuta tried to help Moxley over the cage but was stopped by Darby, who ended up knocking Yuta off the cage, sending him crashing onto the announce desk.

On the other side of the ring, Moxley was placed under a stack of tables. Darby climbed up the cage, but Marina was able to pull Moxley to safety. Kidd went after Darby, but Darby managed to drive Kidd off the cage and through the tables.

Back in the ring, Omega and Ospreay worked together to give Matt a “One Winged Hidden Blade.” Tanahashi then pinned Matt with a top-rope splash. Darby’s team celebrated and then Ospreay was left alone to receive a standing ovation from his home country fans but then the Death Riders attacked him. With the cage locked, a chair was placed around Ospreay’s neck and Moxley stomped on it. Medical personnel came down to check on Ospreay as the show went off the air.
The Death Riders are trying to take @WillOspreay out for good!
