Results of the Buy-In show at AEW All In 2024 including the return of Jamie Hayter

Here are notes from the Buy-In show at the 2024 AEW All In PPV…

* A sitdown interview aired between Renee Paquette and Brie Garcia fka Brie Bella. Brie said the following about Bryan Danielson’s match against Swerve Strickland…

“I don’t know which way I’ll be cheering. Yes, I know I’ve always wanted my husband to be home more, but at the same time I’ve been with him and all we’ve ever known together is wrestling and I don’t know if I want to see that end for him.”

* The first match was Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh, Anthony Ogogo, Ariya Daivari, Private Party (Zay and Quen), and The Dark Order (John Silver and Alex Reynolds) (with Evil Uno and Sonjay Dutt) vs. Tommy Billington, Kip Sabian, Rocky Romero, Kyle Fletcher, Lio Rush, Action Andretti, and Top Flight (Darius Martin and Dante Martin). At one point, Lio went at it with the match larger Singh. Dante pinned Daivari with a top rope splash to pick up the victory for his team.

* It was announced that AEW Grand Slam Australia at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane will take place February 15th 2025. The venue has a listed capacity of 52,000 fans.

* The second match was Kris Statlander and Stokely Hathaway vs. Willow Nightingale and Tomohiro Ishii. Willow and Kris fought for most of the match. When Ishii got the tag, Hathaway was forced to enter the match. With Kris’ help, Hathaway was able to deliver a spinebuster but Ishii popped right back up. Ishii pinned Hathaway to win the match.

* AEW President Tony Khan and Martha Hart appeared on the stage to hype up the world titles matches.

* AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door was announced for London, England on August 24th 2025. A venue was not revealed.

* The third match was Dustin Rhodes, Sammy Guevara, Katsuyori Shibata, and The Von Erichs (Marshall Von Erich and Ross Von Erich) (with Kevin Von Erich) vs. Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) and Cage of Agony (Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun, and Toa Liona). Everyone brawled outside of the ring before the match officially started. Once in the ring, Dustin’s team delivered stereo Shattered Dreams to the other team. The match finally started and after a back and forth battle, Dustin pinned Taven after Taven was hit with a senton from Guevara. There was a post-match attack from the losers but then Kevin Von Erich got in the ring. Kevin and Dustin’s team gave Iron Claws to the other team.

* Saraya came to the ring for a promo and vented about not having a match on the card. Jamie Hayter then made her return and took out Saraya’s entourage including Saraya’s mother.
