Solo Sikoa (c) vs. Jacob Fatu for the United States title in a steel cage match took place at the WWE SummerSlam Sunday 2025 PLE. Here are the highlights…

The two had a staredown before exchanging blows. Fatu had the early advantage, but Solo turned the tide with a back body drop into the cage. Solo maintained control until Fatu managed to avoid the Samoan Spike. Solo sent Fatu into the cage, but Fatu no-sold it. Fatu then delivered two moonsaults, but Solo kicked out.

At this point, the MFTs showed up and circled the cage, but Jimmy Uso came down to help. However, the numbers game caught up with him. Solo hit Fatu with a Samoan Spike, but Fatu kicked out. Solo then tried to climb the cage but was caught by Fatu. Using a pair of handcuffs, Talla Tonga restrained Fatu. Solo attempted to exit through the cage door, but Fatu broke free and stopped him. However, Talla kicked the door into Fatu’s face. Solo then fell to the floor and won the match.

After the match, Fatu fought off the MFTs inside the cage. He then climbed to the top and delivered a moonsault onto Tonga Loa and JC Mateo.
