* Joe dominated the early minutes of the match and Cole retreated to the outside. Cole caught Joe with a superkick and sent Joe shoulder-first into the apron.

* Cole worked over Joe for awhile but Joe was able to make a comeback. However, Joe kept selling his shoulder. Joe hit a clothesline from hell but Cole kicked out. Joe then went for the muscle buster but couldn’t hit it. Joe put on the STF submission but Cole got to the rope.

* Bobby Fish took a cheap shot at Joe when the referee was distracted. Joe still managed to put the sleeper submission on Cole but Fish got on the apron and Joe let go to attack Fish. Cole then hit the boom kick and scored the victory.
