Results of Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez at WWE Payback 2023 PLE

Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Raquel Rodriguez for the RAW women’s heavyweight title took place at the WWE Payback 2023 PLE. Here are the highlights…

* The two had a feeling out process and tried to out-power each other. Rhea gained the upper hand with a dropkick to the face of Raquel. Rhea worked over Raquel for a few minutes.

* Raquel started to make a comeback but it was short-lived. Raquel was put in a tree of woe position but managed to escape and then gave Rhea a delayed vertical suplex. Raquel was unable to hit a powerbomb but gave Rhea a clothesline.

* Rhea regained control by targeting the leg of Raquel. Raquel came back with a powerslam but couldn’t make a pin because of her leg being hurt.

* The match went to the outside and Raquel sent Rhea into the barricade. Raquel then sent Rhea shoulder-first into the ring post.

* Dominik came to the ring and Raquel ended up giving Dominik a powerslam. However, that allowed Rhea to once again target Raquel’s bad leg. Rhea then hit the riptide and scored the pinfall victory.
