Matt Riddle vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins took place at WWE Clash at the Castle 2022. Here are the highlights…

* Rollins wore an outlandish outfit to the ring which appeared to be an homage to Elton John as the crowd hummed his entrance music.

* The two immediately started brawling right when the bell rang. Riddle was showing aggression and the referee had to warn him. The two ended up on the outside and Rollins powerbombed Riddle into the barricade.

* Rollins largely dominated for several minutes. Rollins hit a superplex and went for the falcon arrow but Riddle countered with a fisherman buster. Riddle built up momentum as he hit a floating bro to the outside. Riddle went for a floating bro in the ring but Rollins got his knees up. Rollins hit the Bro Derek but Riddle kicked out.

* The two continued to go back and forth. Rollins hit a pedigree but Riddle kicked out again. Rollins started trash talking and called Riddle “a god damn loser.” Riddle got angry and Rollins took advantage. Rollins hit Riddle with Randy Orton’s draping DDT. Rollins went for an RKO but Riddle countered with a rear-naked choke. Riddle got emotional again and tried to use a chair but missed. Rollins hit the curb stomp and then finished off Riddle with another curb stomp from the second rope.
