Paragon came to the ring and hugged him.

Early in the match, Guevara executed a Spanish Fly to Garcia on the floor. With both of them down, Fletcher attempted to finish off Dustin, but Dustin stayed in the fight.

Dustin built momentum and hit a Cross Rhodes on Fletcher, but Fletcher kicked out. Dustin went for Shattered Dreams, but Garcia stopped him, only to deliver the move himself to Fletcher. Guevara also performed the move on Fletcher, and then Dustin finally hit Shattered Dreams.

Guevara accidentally hit Dustin, and Garcia capitalized on the miscommunication. Garcia fought back with the GTH, but Dustin broke up the pin. Dustin managed to pin Garcia with an inside cradle to win the match. Dustin broke down crying in the corner as he was handed the championship. Guevara hugged Dustin as Dustin’s grandsons and members of the Von Erich family celebrated the victory.
