Results of Liv Morgan vs. Ronda Rousey from WWE Extreme Rules 2022

Liv Morgan (c) vs. Ronda Rousey in an Extreme Rules match for the Smackdown women’s title took place at WWE Extreme Rules 2022. Here are the highlights…

* Rousey wore Judo Gene LeBell’s pink gi to the ring to honor him but received a mixed reaction. Liv brought a baseball bat with her to the ring. Liv tried to use it early in the match but Rousey got it away from her and tossed it to the outside.

* The two fought on the outside and Liv used a fire extinguisher but Rousey was able to hit Piper’s Pit. Rousey then started using the bat on Liv. Liv got the bat and used it but then Rousey tied Liv to the ring post with a strap. Rousey used the bat again but Liv was able to send Rousey into the ring post.

* Liv repeatedly hit Rousey with a steel chair. Liv laid Rousey on a table and hit a senton off the top rope but Rousey kicked out. Rousey was able to apply an armbar and adjusted the hold into a biceps crusher. Liv passed out and the referee stopped the match to make Rousey the new champion.
