Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley for the women’s world title took place at the Netflix premiere of WWE RAW on January 6th 2025. Here are the highlights…

* Rhea got the early advantage and Liv escaped to the outside. Rhea went after Raquel at ringside and Dominik Mysterio grabbed at Rhea’s leg. However, Rhea regrouped and powerbombed Liv onto the announce table.

* The match went back and forth after the commercial break. Liv was able to counter the rip tide with a back stabber. Rhea regained control and hit a rip tide but Liv managed to kick out. Dominik and Raquel interfered and Liv hit the oblivion but Rhea kicked out.

* Liv came off the top with a frogsplash but Rhea kicked out again. Rhea blocked another oblivion attempt and then hit two more riptides to win the title. After the match, Dominik wanted a hug from Rhea but she gave him a low blow and the riptide instead.

* After the match, The Undertaker (with his American Badass music) rode around ringside on his bike and then celebrated with Rhea.
