Liv Morgan (c) vs. Iyo Sky for the women’s world title took place at the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14th 2024. Here are the highlights…

* The two quickly ended up on apron. Iyo gained the upper hand with a springboard moonsault to Liv on the floor. Iyo then took out Liv with a suicide dive. Back in the ring, Iyo took down Liv with a missile dropkick. Liv was finally able to regain control with a codebreaker.

* Iyo regained momentum with a series of German suplexes. Iyo caught Liv with a knee to the face and hit the “bullet train” attack in the corner. Iyo went for her moonsault but Liv got her feet up. Liv then pinned Iyo with oblivion.

* After the match, Rhea Ripley confronted Liv by the entrance stage.
