Results of ladder match for the vacant TNT title at AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door 2024

Konosuke Takeshita vs. Mark Briscoe vs. Jack Perry vs. Dante Martin vs. Lio Rush vs. El Phantasmo in a ladder match for the vacant TNT title took place at AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door 2024. Here are the highlights…

* Perry tried to avoid everyone but got knocked out by Takeshita. The other competitors then went after Takeshita. After Takeshita was taken out, the other four grabbed ladders and threw them at each other.

* Phantasmo put Lio through one of the ladders.

* Dante started to build up momentum but Takeshita then gave him a brainbuster on a ladder.

* In a tribute to Terry Funk, Briscoe came in and swung a ladder around his head. Briscoe then dove to the outside and put Takeshita through a table with a ladder on top of Takeshita.

* Perry was placed on a table and Briscoe came off the top with a splash onto Perry.

* Takeshita cleared out the ring and climbed a ladder but then Phantasmo hit him with multiple superkicks. The two fought on the apron and Takeshita put Phantasmo through two tables with a blue thunder bomb. Takeshita got back in the ring and climbed a ladder but was stopped by Briscoe.

* Briscoe tried to win the match but was stopped by Perry with a steel chair. Perry then climbed up the ladder and grabbed the title to become the new champion.
