Jim Ross was on commentary for the match. Omega had a live performance by singer Jason Charles Miller for his entrance. The crowd gave them a standing ovation when the bell rang.

After going back and forth in the opening moments, Don Callis took cheap shots at Omega while the referee was distracted. Okada gained firm control by delivering a DDT to Omega onto the announce desk.

Back in the ring, Okada targeted the abdomen of Omega. Omega recovered and began to build momentum but was still selling his midsection. The two countered each other, and both men ended up down.

Omega delivered multiple V-Triggers to Okada but couldn’t secure the victory. Omega then hit Okada with an avalanche full nelson suplex, but Okada kicked out. Okada regained control and hit the Rainmaker, but Omega kicked out.

Rocky Romero provided a distraction but was stopped by Ibushi. Omega hit the One Winged Angel, but Don Callis pulled the referee out of the ring. Another referee came down, and Okada hit the Rainmaker, but Omega kicked out.

The two men traded strikes and attempted to finish each other off. Okada hit another Rainmaker to finally secure the victory.
