Swerve took out Okada with a dive early in the match but began selling his knee. He regrouped and continued his offense on Okada. After being sent out of the ring, Swerve struggled with his knee again. Okada countered a piledriver attempt on the steel steps with a DDT.

Swerve managed to regain the advantage, but his momentum was cut short when Okada delivered a Tombstone Piledriver on the floor. Back in the ring, Swerve connected with a House Call Kick, leaving both men down.

Swerve connected with a stomp but couldn’t make the cover immediately due to his knee issues. He went for another House Call Kick, but Okada dodged it and secured the victory with the Rainmaker.

After the match, Okada placed Swerve’s knee against the steel steps and struck it with a chair, until Prince Nana ran down to intervene. The returning Wardlow then attacked Nana in front of the injured Swerve. Wardlow took out the security guards and celebrated with The Don Callis Family.
