Results of Imperium vs. Kyle O’Reilly and Von Wagner at WWE NXT WarGames 2021

Imperium (Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel) (c) vs. Kyle O’Reilly and Von Wagner or Legado Del Fantasma (Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza) in a tag team match for the NXT Tag Team Championship

* Kyle and Von Wagner worked well together in the early moments but then Aichner used his power to take down Von Wagner and then took a cheap shot at Kyle which helped give Imperium the upper hand.

* Von Wagner was able to tag back in and cleaned house on both Imperium members. Imperium managed to double team Von Wagner and regain control. Von Wanger recovered and chokeslammed Aichner onto Barthel.

* Kyle put a submission on Barthel but Aichner hit a springboard moonsault to break up the pinfall attempt.

* Von Wanger got sent to the outside of the ring. Aichner hit a top rope dive to Von Wanger on the outside. Kyle got a submission on Aichner but Aichner powered out and tagged in his partner. The Imperium bomb was then hit and the champions retained.

* The crowd chanted “Thank you Kyle” but then Von Wagner tried to attack Kyle. However, Kyle got the upper hand on Von Wagner.
