Results of Gunther vs. Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14th 2024

Gunther (c) vs. Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest for the world heavyweight title took place at the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14th 2024. Here are the highlights…

* Gunther and Priest briefly double teamed Balor before going against each other. Priest came over the top with a dive onto Gunther to gain the upper hand. After the break, Gunther took control with big boots to both Priest and Balor. Gunther chopped Priest but Priest fired back with chops of his own. Priest walked on the top rope for a move similar to The Undertaker’s Old School.

* Gunther regained control and applied a sleeper to Priest but Priest was able to escape. Priest took out Gunther with a South of Heaven chokeslam but couldn’t make the cover because of Balor. Priest gave Gunther the Razor’s Edge and then Balor hit Gunther with Coup De Grace but the pin was broken up.

* Priest hit Balor with the chokeslam but Gunther pulled Priest out of the ring. Gunther gave Priest a powerbomb on the steel steps. Gunther then got back in the ring and pinned Balor with a powerbomb.
