Results of Gunther vs. Damian Priest at WWE Survivor Series 2024 PLE

Gunther (c) vs. Damian Priest for the world heavyweight title took place at the WWE Survivor Series 2024 PLE. Here are the highlights…

* The two had a feeling out process in the early moments. Priest went for a kick but Gunther slipped to the outside. Gunther got back in the ring and was able to gain control after Priest started selling his shoulder. Gunther took advantage of Priest’s bad shoulder.

* Priest started to make a comeback with a flatliner but was still having issues with his shoulder. Priest was unable to hit the Razor’s Edge and Gunther applied a sleeper. Gunther powerbombed Priest but Priest was able to kick out.

* Priest recovered and hit the Razor’s Edge but Gunther kicked out. Priest tried to deliver South of Heaven but Gunther countered and applied a Kimura lock. Priest managed to get to the rope.

* Both ended up in the corner. Priest knocked Gunther off the top but then fell to the outside and was told the referee that his shoulder was out. While the referee checked on Gunther, Finn Balor gave Priest the coup de grace off the steel steps onto the floor. Back in the ring, Gunther powerbombed Priest and finished him off with the sleeper submission.
