Daniel Garcia (c) vs. Adam Cole for the TNT title took place at AEW Dynasty 2025. Here are the highlights…

* There was no time limit and no outside interference.

* Early in the match, Cole landed awkwardly on his surgically repaired ankle, and Garcia took advantage of the situation. For the next several minutes, Garcia was largely in control and hit a Gotch-style piledriver, but Cole kicked out. Garcia applied an ankle lock, but Cole managed to reach the rope.

* Cole managed to make a comeback and successfully executed a Panama Sunrise on Garcia on the floor. Back in the ring, Cole’s leg gave out on him again, and Garcia delivered his own Panama Sunrise. Garcia then hit Cole with Cole’s own Boom strike, but Cole kicked out again.

* Garcia attempted a top-rope piledriver on Cole, but Cole fought out of it and delivered two Panama Sunrises. Cole then hit the Boom shot to win the TNT title. After the match, Cole shook hands with Garcia.
