CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins took place at the Netflix premiere of WWE RAW on January 6th 2025. Here are the highlights…

* There was a “holy shit” chant when the match started. The two exchanged shots and then fought on the outside of the ring. Rollins told the referee to “let it ride” and not stop the match. The fight between Punk and Rollins went into the crowd. The two eventually returned to the ring and they countered each other’s finishing moves.

* After the break, Punk targeted the neck of Rollins. Rollins made a comeback when he managed to hit Punk with Punk’s own GTS that sent Punk to the outside of the ring. Rollins got Punk back in the ring but that allowed Punk to hit Rollins with a stomp. Punk went for a GTS but Rollins countered with another GTS.

* Rollins went for a stomp but Punk rolled out of the ring. They fought on the announce table and Rollins gave Punk a pedigree on the table. Rollins, who was selling his knee, got Punk back in the ring and hit another pedigree but Punk kicked out. The two slapped each other and exchanged shots. Rollins gave Punk a buckle bomb followed by a stomp but Punk was able to get his foot on the rope. The crowd erupted in a “this is awesome” and “fight forever” chant. After countering Rollins, Punk managed to hit a GTS and then hit a second GTS to win the match.
