* The two fought on the outside early and Punk chopped over the barricade to the timekeeper’s area.

* Back in the ring, Punk did Hulk Hogan’s ear cup taunt and delivered a legdrop to Kojima. Punk worked over Kojima for several minutes but then Kojima made a comeback with machine gun chops in the corner. Kojima delivered a top rope elbow but Punk kicked out.

* Punk regained the upper hand and delivered a Macho Man top rope elbow drop but Kojima kicked out. Kojima was also able to break out of the Anaconda Vice and avoid the GTS. Kojima went for the lariat but Punk avoided it and then hit the GTS to win the match.

* After the match, Punk helped up Kojima and gave him a bow.
